Stevie Campbell's side went down by the odd goal in three to St Mirren at Airdrie this afternoon. Although Jordan Moore levelled, Saints grabbed a late winner.

Despite the Paisley side only snatching the winner three minutes from time, the truth is that the Tangerines were lucky to still be in contention at such a late stage in this afternoon’s encounter at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium.
Outplayed for almost the entire 90 minutes, United somehow managed to go in goalless at the break.
Indeed, only an absolutely terrific save by Luis Zwick prevented Adam Drury putting the Paisley side ahead inside the first minute.
It was only a matter of time before Saints scored and that came ten minutes after the restart, Lewis Morgan’s corner being headed home at the near post by Lewis McLear.
Totally against the run of play, the Tannadice side levelled midway through the half. A poor clearance fell to Jordan Moore and he took a touch before despatching into the bottom left hand corner from just inside the box.
Responding Saints had the ball in the net with 13 minutes left, but an offside flag denied them.
However, after missing several chances, justice was served when Jordan Stewart’s deep cross into the goalmouth was controlled by Callum Ball before knocking in an overdue winner.
To complete a bad afternoon, Aidan Connolly had to helped off after sustaining a nasty looking ankle injury!
