MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

As part of a recent operational review, a new management board has been established to run the Club on a day to day basis. This will comprise of Chairman Stephen Thompson, Directors Mike Martin, Justine Mitchell and Derek Robertson and General Manager David Southern. The full Board of Directors will remain and act in an oversight capacity to ensure compliance with the company’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The combined post of Head of Football Administration and Company Secretary, which had been established in the interim to assist with the transition of the Club to this position, will no longer be required and, as a result, John Taylor is leaving the Club. Dundee United would like to thank John for his valuable and professional assistance during this transitional period. Chairman Stephen Thompson said: “The establishment of our new management board is another progressive step in developing the club for the years ahead. Dundee United is now set on firm foundations and, as a dedicated management team, our key objective will focus on ensuring that the club is operationally efficient. This in parallel with our ongoing strategic vision for the club should deliver a secure, progressive and successful football club both on and off field.”
