SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES TO RUN TO FINAL

29th April 2014

ScotRail has arranged for exclusive special train services for the use of Dundee United supporters only to run between Dundee and Glasgow for the Cup Final.

Train One will leave Dundee at 0943 arriving Glasgow Queen Street 1147 and returning to Dundee from Glasgow Queen Street at 1810 due at Dundee 2012.

Due to Network Rail engineering works near Stirling, journey times will be longer than normal, with trains arriving into Glasgow in plenty of time for fans to transfer on to services to Bellgrove, and then walk to Celtic Park. And return journey departure times will also take into account the possibility of extra time or penalties.

Note return train times have still to be confirmed and may be subject to change. Advice will be posted on ScotRail and Dundee United websites with a reminder on the day of travel.

A second and third train will be available if there are sufficient numbers travelling. Details will be posted or advised on the day of purchase.

Onward return travel from Glasgow Queen Street to Bellgrove station is included.

A special, discounted fare of £28 adult return applies, valid only on these special services. A family ticket of one adult and one child only is £37 return. Tickets are available only from ScotRail staff.

Rail tickets are only available for purchase with proof of match ticket at Dundee United Football Stadium at the complimentary ticket window from 0930 until 1600 on Thursday 1st May and Friday 2nd May. Details on further ticket sales will be announced along with information on second and third trains if required.

Tickets can only be purchased at locations detailed above and not at this stage at any ScotRail station nor online.
