Dundee United drew 2-2 with Motherwell as the Terrors were denied a "Beautiful Sunday" at the hands of a Lionel Ainsworth equaliser after 75 minutes.
Motherwell took a first half lead through Henri Arnier. Zaine Francis-Angol broke away down the left after a United attack was cleared. Despite the attentions of Ryan Dow, the winger continued into the United half. He turned inside John Rankin and crossed the ball to Arnier. With time and space he took the ball down at the penalty spot and hit a low shot past Radoslaw Cierzniak and into the right corner.
