Gibby Haggart has stepped down from the Board of Dundee United after 11 years of continuous and valued service as an Executive Director of the Club.
Gibby joined the Board of Directors of Dundee United in January 2002, following in the footsteps of his father-in-law, George Fox, the former Chairman of the Club. Following the transfer of ownership to Eddie Thompson, Gibby retained his place on the Board with specific responsibilities covering operations and administration. During his tenure, Gibby oversaw the establishment of new premises for the club shop, new seating in the Jerry Kerr Stand, the installation of new floodlights and the opening of the Levein Lounge, together with many other operational and property related programmes.
Everyone at Dundee United wishes Gibby, and his wife Val, a long, healthy and well deserved retirement.
