Goals by Scott Smith, Willie Robertson and a Jordan Moore hat trick saw the Under-20s record a comfortable 5 - 2 victory over St Mirren at Glebe Park tonight.
The first goal came on 34 minutes courtesy of Scott Smith from the edge of the six yard box, and on 36 minutes Willie Robertson made it 2 - 0 with a spectacular strike from 20 yards out. Just before half time, Jordan Moore cut in from the left to make it 3 - 0.
Two minutes into the second half Jordan Moore scored his second, whilst St Mirren got one back on 49 minutes. In 63, another goal for St Mirren made it 4 - 2. United won a penalty on 77 minutes and Jordan Moore completed his hat-trick and, whilst Saints also got a penalty in injury time, they hit the bar.
