Stevie Campbell's young side did themselves proud last night by almost pulling the irons out of the fire after finding themselves three down with just 13 minutes left at Firhill.
Then Jordan Moore pulled one back from a penalty he had earned and Scott Fraser scored the goal of the night with a superb volley, but coming a minute into stoppage time, it was too little too late.
With the first team game against Ross County on Friday, Stevie Campbell had to field a very young side, but he could only be delighted with the resolute defending that restricted a full strength Celtic side to a handful of chances.
Unfortunately, striker Bahrudin Atajic proved a real handful and he scored all three of the home side's goals.
