Dundee United are pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with GA Engineering which sees the Dundee based engineering firm become the official back of shirt sponsors for the next two seasons.
GA Engineering's name and logo will feature on the back of both the first team's home and away shirts. First pictures of the logo emblazoned on the back of the United shirt will be available at the launch of our new kit for season 2012-13 which will take place on Friday 8th June 2012 and replica home shirts will be on sale from 12 noon that same day.
Chairman Stephen Thompson commented: "We are delighted that GA Engineering have decided to increase their branding presence by sponsoring the back of our shirts. We welcome them into our group of club sponsors. With their commitment to delivering exactly what their customer wants, they follow a similar ethos to our football club and this deal also proves yet again that Dundee United is seen by businesses as an excellent platform for brand promotion."
GA Engineering have truly demonstrated a culture of continuous improvement, evolving from a one machine operation in the basement of a garage in 1992 to now employing 125 staff and supporting a diverse customer base within the oil & gas, aerospace & defence and medical industry. The company motto is 'we commit, we deliver - no excuses' and a philosophy of doing everything they can to ensure customer satisfaction.
Managing Director Gordon Deuchars said "as a Dundee United fan I am delighted to become a Club sponsor and look forward to forming a long term relationship with the Club.
"With European qualification and a host of young talented players coming through the ranks, 2012/2013 looks like being a very exciting season and we wish Peter Houston and his squad every success."
