The first half was a very physical encounter, with the Poles having two players booked. A further Araka player was booked just after the interval.
United came closest to scoring, with Craig Conway hitting the post from a free kick and Jon Daly also hitting woodwork from a header.
United also looked the likeliest to score in the second period, with Daly, David Robertson, Casalinouvo and Buaben all getting into good opportunities.
Manager Peter Houston rang the changes in the second half, with eight changes in personnel. After the match he said, "We dominated game. The only thing we didn't do was to convert our chances. On another day, we might well have scored four. But at this stage of our preparation that perhaps wasn't all that surprising.
The good thing is that we created plenty of chances.
I'm glad to say that we appear to have no serious injuries despite the over physical approach by the Poles, especiially in the first half."
