Dundee United today confirmed the appointment of Paul Hegarty as First Team coach until the end of the season.
Team Manager Peter Houston said: "I am delighted to welcome Paul back at the club where he needs no introduction. From our time together at Hearts I know him to be a first class coach who will fit in perfectly with the way we train and play at Dundee United."
Paul Hegarty said: "I am equally delighted to be back at my old club and pleased to assist the Manager in every form. The team is in a very good position in terms of performance and league position, and it is our wish to continue that. I have watched United quite a few times this season and have been impressed with the attitude and performance of the team."
