David Goodwillie scored for the second consecutive game to earn United a deserved win at New Douglas Park this evening.
Goodwillie popped up fifteen minutes from time to dispatch a clinical finish beyond Hamilton 'keeper Tomas Cerny after good build up play involving Paul Dixon, Craig Conway, Garry Kenneth and Jon Daly.
It was a victory United deserved at a chilly New Douglas Park after Cerny had been the busier goalkeeper throughout, with saves from Goodwillie and Conway in the first half, while United also hit the post before the break and had a stonewall late penalty appeal turned down.
