Dundee United Manager Craig Levein and defender Andy Webster have been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager and Player of the Month for November, respectively.
Dundee United had a good November, with a draw against Motherwell and wins over Kilmarnock and Celtic, the first time they had beaten the Glasgow side in 10 years. These results have kept United near the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, only a few points from the leader. Changes made by Craig Levein against Celtic influenced the game and led to the win, his tactical awareness was praised by the panel as they named him Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month.
Andy Webster joined the club at the start of this season on a year long loan deal from Rangers and has made a great impression, playing in the majority of games so far. The Dundee born defender played for Levein at Hearts, and it could be argued he has already repaid the Manager for bringing him to Tannadice with some excellent performances, and a goal this month against Motherwell. The panel felt he deserved to be the Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month for November.
A panel of Scottish football experts chose the award winners from a shortlist which included the top three fans' nominations from Clydesdale Bank's football website
