Dundee United start the Clydesdale Bank Premier League 2009/10 season with a home game against Hearts on Saturday 15 August. A Tayside derby against St Johnstone (away) is scheduled for 26 September, with a home New Year 'new firm' derby against Aberdeen on 2 January. The full set of fixtures will be available in First Team Fixtures as soon as possible. Please note that broadcast selections have still to be made.

Two potential fixture clashes with city neighbours Dundee have been avoided by Dundee's home game against Dunfermline being moved to Sunday 18 January, while Dundee United's home game against Hearts on the weekend of 6 March, will be played on Sunday 7 March.
Please note also that the SPL has come to an agreement with the SFA which means that Round 33 will take place on the weekend of 10/11 April with the Scottish Cup semi finals scheduled for the 13/14 April if our clubs progress into the latter stages of Europe. The Scottish Cup semi finals will revert back to the weekend of 10/11 April if our clubs do not progress into the latter stages in Europe. Fixtures in Round 33 will then be rescheduled onto an available midweek slot which will be confirmed in due course.
