Dundee United today confirmed that Danny Cadamarteri had agreed a pre contract arrangement to sign a two year deal and, subject to this being formalised, would be joining the Club for pre season work in the summer.
The 29 year old forward was a product of the Everton youth system and made his debut for the club as a teenager. He went on to make 92 appearances for the Merseyside team and was capped at U21 level by England, before going on to play for a number of clubs, most recently Huddersfield Town.
Manager Craig Levein said, "Danny can play as a striker and a winger so brings versatility and experience to the team.
"He not only provides width to the team but also pace and power to the attack, adding to the options already available. He also provides experience, which is very important given the relatively young squad we have here at Tannadice. After a very bright start, his career has stalled a bit recently, but I believe that his best years have still to come. In my view he will strengthen an already impressive squad for next season's campaign."
