Dundee United today released details of their Centenary Year season tickets, with prices for kids starting at just £19.09!
All adult and other concession prices are frozen at last year's prices and this year the season ticket package is enhanced with over £200 worth of extra savings benefits AND two exclusive prize draws for Early Bird purchasers. Cup top ups and gate prices are also unchanged from last year.
Early Bird tickets go on sale on Monday 27 April, with discounts ranging from 14% to 90% on walk up gate prices and on average provide free admission for up to six games for adults - almost a third of all SPL home games.
Early Bird prices for kids have been reduced to only £60 for U12s - only £3 per game - and prices for U8s have been reduced to just £19.09 - only £1 per game! This provides discounts of up to an incredible 90% on the gate price and is the equivalent of getting 17 (out of 19) games completely free of charge!
Early Bird prices offer huge cash savings for all supporters, with adults saving up to £112 a year compared to the gate price.
Chairman Stephen Thompson said, "Over the last few years, we have taken pride in offering one of the lowest priced season ticket packages in the SPL. Like all other clubs, we are facing a time of new and difficult financial challenges ahead. At the same time, we do recognise that these are difficult economic times for everyone. We have therefore frozen all season tickets prices from last year.
"And, in a special gesture to mark our centenary, we have reduced child prices to as little as only £19.09 - £1 per game - to help ease family budgets and encourage our supporters of the next 100 years."
The Early Bird period lasts until the first weekend in June, thereby allowing two end of month salary dates in the initial sales period. A further discounted period has been allowed from 8 June before full pre-season pricing comes into effect on 6 July.
Brochures are being sent out this week to all those on the Dundee United database.

- Adult prices start at only £270 (approx £14 per game). This saves £112 (30%) on the gate price.
- Senior Citizen prices from £175 (£9 per game). This saves 14% on the senior citizen gate price and a massive 54% on the adult price.
- Under 18 prices from £110 (£6 per game). A saving of 46% on the concession gate price and over 70% on the equivalent adult price.
- Under 12 prices reduced to £60 (£3 per game). A saving of over 70% on the concession gate price.
- Under 8 prices reduced to only £19.09 (£1 per game). A massive saving of 90% on the concession gate prices.
- Boardroom hospitality for two - Before each home SPL game, one lucky season ticket holder, plus his or her guest, will be invited to join us for boardroom hospitality at the match. This will include pre and post match drinks, half time snacks and refreshments, a behind the scenes tour before kick off and seats in the Directors' box.
- Accompany the team to Europe - If we qualify for Europe, the name of one very lucky Early Bird purchaser, plus his or her guest, will be drawn at random to accompany the team and be part of the official party to our first away game! This will include all travel, hotel accommodation (where appropriate) and of course match tickets. Alternatively, you and your guest will be part of the official Dundee United party to an away game of your choice next season, with travel on the team bus, pre match lunch with the players and pre and post match hospitality at the stadium.
- Guaranteed own seat at all home SPL games.
- Priority booking for all ticket cup games, away games and pre season games, as appropriate.
- Free entry to all Reserve and U19 SPL home games.
