28th January 2009

The Scottish Football League has produced a souvenir Matchday Programme for tonight's Co-operative Insurance Cup Semi-Final between Celtic and Dundee United.

The Matchday Programme has extensive coverage of both Semi-Finalists including interviews with Celtic's First Team Coach, Neil Lennon, defender Andreas Hinkel, midfielders Paul Hartley and Barry Robson (who both played under the guidance of current Dundee United boss, Craig Levein) and strikers Georgios Samaras and Scott McDonald. Similarly, the Programme has interviews with Dundee United's First Team Coach, Gary Kirk, (as well as some comments from United's Manager, Craig Levein), goalkeeper, Lukasz Zaluska, former Dundee duo Paul Dixon and Scott Robertson, who both moved to Tannadice during the close season, and strikers Warren Feeney and Jon Daly. There is also an interview with Celtic's Mark Wilson and Dundee United's Garry Kenneth, who were team-mates in the Dundee United team that narrowly lost 1-0 to Celtic in the 2005 Scottish Cup Final.

There are also extensive player profiles on the respective squads for both Semi-Finalists and in addition, other features include articles on the match officials, a detailed report on Celtic's and Dundee United's "Round by Round" Road to the Semis, a look back at previous League Cup meetings between Celtic and Dundee United, players that have moved between the two clubs over the years, detailed statistical information as well as a number of action packed photographs.

Tonight's Official Match Programme is available both outside and inside Hampden Park priced £3.00 and is an excellent read. For all Celtic and Dundee United fans, it is a souvenir worth treasuring.
