The funeral service for Eddie Thompson OBE, Chairman of Dundee United FC, will take place on Wednesday, 22 October 2008 at 1pm in St Mary's Episcopal Church, Queen Street, Broughty Ferry.
Whilst the service will be open to close family and invited friends only, the ceremony will be broadcast via loudspeaker outside the church.
The family have requested family flowers only; donations in lieu, if so desired, to Ward 32, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.
It was the Chairman's special request that colourful clothes be worn.
The burial service will be strictly private.
