United were once again left pointless despite dominating large spells of this exciting encounter. Having levelled on the stroke of half time through a Lee Wilkie thunderbolt, for much of the second half it looked like the visitors would go on to claim their first win of the league season. But Steven Fletcher's sucker punch meant United went unrewarded - despite Sol Bamba marking his debut with a deserved red card.
