The youthful U19 side were 4-0 ahead at half time in a very one sided contest, with two goals apiece from Johnny Russell and midfielder Scott Allan.
The second half didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the blistering first half fare, but United did add a fifth through John Murray towards the end.
U19 coach Stevie Campbell was delighted with the performance, particularly as his side contained eight players still eligible for the U17s , plus two 15 year olds.
