Under 15 striker Robert Thomson, currently our top Youth Initiative scorer with 26 goals this season, has become the eighteenth United player to be selected to play for Scotland at under-age level in the last twelve months.
Robert is in the national squad to face Belgium at New Bayview in Methil on Tuesday 1st. April with the game kicking off at 7.30.
Incidentally, the other seventeen players capped in the last year are Garry Kenneth, David Robertson, Greg Cameron and Euan McLean (Under 21), Keith Watson, David Goodwillie, Ryan McCord, Johnny Russell, Gordon Pope and John Gibson (Under 19), Jonny Boyle (Under 18), Scott Allan (Under 17) and Ross Smith, Cameron Howie, Jordan Elfverson, Gavin Stokes and Jordan Reoch (Under 16).
