The Club has now been advised by the SFL that an error was made in today's CIS Cup draw and Dundee United will now play Aberdeen in the semi finals.
The Scottish Football League report that Scottish Parliament presiding officer Alex Fergusson mixed up the numbers, and miscalled the ties when the four balls were drawn.
"This was a genuine error and I can only apologise for the confusion caused," said Mr Fergusson.
The semi final ties are due to be played on 29 and 30 January, 2008.
Venue and date will be confirmed as soon as we are advised.
