Dundee United Manager Craig Levein has today been named Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month for October.
The award is in recognition of a superb month for Dundee United, with four wins out of four games putting the Club into joint second top position in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and into the semi finals of the CIS Insurance Cup.
In the league, the month started with a fine home win over form side Motherwell, followed by a superb away victory at Tynecastle against Hearts and a thrilling televised home win against Rangers marking the first anniversary of the Manager's appointment at Tannadice. This fixture ended the first quarter of the season, with United sharing second top spot on 22 points.
On the final day of October, a home win against first division leaders Hamilton Accies, secured a semi final place in the CIS Insurance Cup.
