This was a real seesaw battle and highly entertaining affair at North End Park, and in the end a draw was just about right.
There was no doubt that Stevie Campbell's side dominated the first half, but it was the visitors who took the lead after 26 minutes.

Having survived those narrow escapes in sixty-three minutes, United levelled when Fraser Milligan's free kick was head-flicked on by Gordon Pope and Phil McGrath arrived at the back post to fire home at the back post from ten yards.
With United now having the upper hand, David Goodwillie looked to have won the game with fourteen minutes left.

And four minutes later Russell had a chance to wrap it all up cutting in along the by-line before firing in an angled drive that Jones just managed to palm past the far post.
However, Motherwell's fighting finish saw them not only equalise, but also come with an inch of winning.
