Dundee United today signed Polish internationalist goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski on a six month contract.
The 31 year old 6' 2" goalkeeper was with Austrian side Sturm Graz for the last two seasons, making 57 first team appearances during this spell. Out of contract at the end of last season, Grzegorz is currently a free agent.
Manager Craig Levein said, "The injury to Lukasz Zaluska has left us short of first team experience in a very important area of the team and we felt it important to try and fix up an early addition to the squad. Grzegorz comes highly recommended and is a player I was aware of before."
"Assuming all the paperwork and clearances are completed in time, he will be included in the squad for the Barcelona game."
