MANAGERS LOOK AHEAD TO GLAMOUR FRIENDLY

25th July 2007

As United's friendly with Barcelona getting ever closer, Craig Levein and Frank Rijkaard spoke of what they hope to get out of tomorrow's game.

Dundee United Media were present at the pre-match press conference on Wednesday, where they asked Craig Levein just how tough a task it would be to play against a side who are now even stronger than when they won the Champions League little over a year ago.

Levein replied "Of course, Barcelona are a very strong team, the majority of our players could name all of their team, while none of the Barcelona team could name any of ours."

"We are just looking to get some more miles in the legs - which we are sure to do - but we also want to play in the right way. We don't want to try and play a containing game, we want to try and keep control of the ball in our possession too."

"Of course, this is a great game for the Club, and it's great to be involved in. Hopefully there will be more to come for our side in the future."
