Craig Levein has been awarded the Bank of Scotland Premierleague Manager of the Month Award for the month of November.
Craig joined Dundee United on 30 October with the Club in bottom place in the league. His first game in charge could hardly have been more challenging, a televised home game against Rangers on 5 November. However, the players responded magnificently and a famous home victory was secured. This was followed up with another home win over Kilmarnock the following week. The only disappointment in a superb month was an undeserved defeat at East End Park, but United ended the month as they began with another home win, this time against St Mirren.
These valuable victories kick-started the second quarter of the season and took the Club from 12th place to 9th place in the Bank of Scotland Premierleague - five points clear of the relegation place - as at the end of the month.
The award was voted for by a judging panel from the Scottish Media.
