The versatile 26 year old central midfielder can also play in defence and attack and has played for a number of clubs in England, following an initial spell with Sheffield United. Last season he was on loan at Walsall, from Bristol City, and he recently had a trial at Championship side Barnsley.
Manager Craig Brewster said, "Grant has impressed me in his short trial period and this provides him with a longer opportunity to impress further and secure a longer term deal. He is a strong , experienced player with a reputation for scoring goals from midfield. Subject to clearance, he will turn out for the Reserves tomorrow and, all going well, will be included in the squad for Sunday's game against Hearts."
