David Goodwillie's equaliser may have come late in today's Youth League clash at Gardyne Road, but it was no more than his side deserved.
The only surprise of the first half was that it actually produced a goal because neither keeper had a shot to save as both sides huffed and puffed.
The exception to that came ten minutes from the interval when Livingston took the lead thanks to a looping Chris Hamilton header from a corner.
It was the introduction of David Gray and Robbie Feeney that saw the teenage Tangerines produce a flourishing last half hour.
A sweeping move from Goodwillie and Gray down the right almost brought an equaliser 19 minutes from the end, but Andreoni just failed to direct Gray's cross on target.
Nine minutes later, Gray released Feeney and although the striker rounded the keeper, the angle got the better of him and he failed to hit the target.
However, three minutes from time, justice was served when Gray was again the creator slipping the ball in to the path of Goodwillie who took the ball past two defenders before despatching it under McGuigan, the visiting keeper, from 12 yards.

Dave Bowman said afterwards, "We definitely deserved a point.
"If the visitors had a slight edge in the first half, it was without really threatening.
"Goodie getting the equaliser was no more than they deserved because I would have hated to see them put in as much effort as they did without coming away with something.
"Credit must go to the defence who all still able to turn out for the under-17's with John Gibson, the oldest at sixteen.
"And I really can't understand why the big keeper who has been outstanding isn't part of the Scotland squad."
This coming week's Under-19 fixture is away to Dunfermline next Friday morning, kick-off 10.30am.
