dufc-old/www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/index-43355.asp: In response to the considerable interest prompted by a suggestion from an exiled Arab in Canada, we are now pleased to offer a facility which will allow Dundee United supporters to sponsor season tickets for under privileged children or children in care.
While the initial suggestion was put forward as a means of allowing exiled Arabs, who cannot attend games at Tannadice, to contribute to season ticket numbers many fans who do attend games have expressed an interest in contributing to such a worthwhile cause. For our part, Dundee United will pledge to match any funds raised from fans in this way to ensure that the number of season tickets available under this scheme is doubled.
Donations and contributions to this cause can now be made by both credit and debit card at United for Kids. Cheques, made payable to Dundee United FC, can also be sent to Derek Robertson, Dundee United FC, Tannadice Street, Dundee. Please ensure that the envelope is marked "United for Kids".
