The anti-racist seminar will include a Q&A session following a screening of the Show Racism the Red Card videos. The young people will then get the chance to question a panel including Dundee United FC players Derek McInnes, Jason Scotland and James Grady about racism and its consequences.
The Club would like to thank ArabTRUST, the Dundee United Supporters' Trust, for helping to organise the event and the Dundee United Business Club for providing assistance on the day. We are also very grateful to Tayside Contracts for providing a full lunch for the children and to Martex for providing snacks and refreshments.
This is also the official launch of the Dundee United FC/SRTRC squad poster for 2004/2005. Sponsored by Dundee City Council, thousands of Dundee United FC posters will be distributed free of charge to young people through the club and the council's education department.
Young people attending the seminar will also have the chance of winning a signed Dundee United football, and all will go on a stadium tour, coming away with a bag of goodies including posters, magazines, badges and free tickets for the next home game at Tannadice.
A report on the Seminar will be included in this week's ArabNeWS, the free weekly enewsletter.
