Dundee United's AGM was held today at Tannadice. The AGM was attended by many new shareholders for the first time, following the successful Rights Issue earlier this year. This resulted in the largest attendance at a Dundee United AGM in many years.
The Chairman provided a detailed account of the past, current and future financial health of the Club, together with the improved performance of the team.
Despite the acknowledged problems affecting Scottish football as a whole, the shareholders expressed their confidence with the current situation at the Club and the continuing efforts of the Board to ensure stability.
The Accounts for the year ended June 2003 were approved unanimously and three Directors, Gibby Haggart, John Bennett and Mike Watson, retiring by rotation, were re-elected.
The Chairman thanked the shareholders for their support, understanding and vote of confidence in the Club, both on and off the pitch.
