EARLY BIRD CATCHES ON!

Dundee United fans took full advantage of the Club's 'Early Bird' offer, with an amazing 3400 season tickets sold when the offer closed last night, far exceeding the Club's expectations.

This is the first time that the Club has operated such a scheme at such an early stage and the response has been overwhelming, particularly in the last few days.

Director Derek Robertson said, "The number of season tickets sold at this stage is well ahead of our targeted figures. The very special nature of our Early Bird offer has really caught the imagination of the fans and has proved popular. However, I think it's equally true to say that the high number of early sales is also due to the performance of Ian McCall and his team this season and greater confidence in the future."

While the Early Bird offer has now closed, season tickets remain heavily discounted at normal pre season discount levels until 6 June. These levels represent only a modest increase on the Early Bird offer and all prices are substantially lower than the equivalent gate prices. Adult prices start at
