United's excellent recent home form continued this afternoon at Tannadice with a superb and well-merited 2-0 win over Rangers. First half goals from Kerr and McLaren put the Tangerines into a commanding position that they rarely looked like losing.
Ian McCall's team were dominant in the second period and should have added to their first half total.
The win means that United have taken seventeen points at home from a possible twenty one and are now ready to challenge for a top six finish come the league split in April.
