Dundee United Director Mike Watson, MSP, had his very own 'Beautiful Sunday' at the weekend when he married Clare Thomas in Glasgow on Sunday 15 February. The ceremony was attended by over 70 close family and friends, including First Minister Jack McConnell and Dundee United Chairman Eddie Thompson. The former Minister of Tourism, Culture & Sport said he was "very happy" after the ceremony and diplomatically declined to comment on rumours that the wedding was held on Sunday to avoid clashing with the game against Celtic the day before.Dundee United would like to congratulate Mike and Clare and offer them our very best wishes for their future together.
