UNITED REPORT DUNDEE

Dundee United FC has today reported Dundee FC to the SPL for the non-payment of monies due for the sale of tickets for the recent derby fixture. This is in accord with SPL rules covering such matters. A Club spokesperson said: "Dundee United regrets having to take this action which was prompted by the fact that a similar occurrence happened last season and took over three months to resolve. Despite assurances that the outstanding monies would be paid by the due date on this occasion, this did not happen, and the Club had no other option but to take steps to protect its interests. We now hope that this matter can be resolved speedily without further recourse to the SPL."
