United's youngsters took a first half lead when Steven Anderson (pictured) scored from a Kenny Jarvis corner. Overall the young Tangerines had more of the play but they missed a golden opportunity to go in with a two-goal advantage at the interval when Jarvis missed from a spot-kick.
In the second half the home side found an equaliser which resulted in a share of the points and coach Tony Docherty expressed his disappointment at the outcome and felt that on balance United deserved all three points and rued the penalty miss.
