Manager Paul Sturrock headed for England on Wednesday as his search for new talent continues. Once again Paul was keen to run the rule over wide players and remains determined to add more width to the squad for next term. Along with the coaching staff he has been making numerous spying missions in the last couple of months and would like new faces to start arriving in time for the start of pre-season training.

"It would be ideal if we could get the ones we want in for the whole of the pre-season, so we can make sure their fitness is right and to give them time to settle in before the start of next season," says Paul. "That's the plan, but I do realise that with many managers down south going on holiday at this time and players' contracts not expiring until the end of June, in many cases that might not be possible".

"However, we are determined to get good players in and if we have to wait a while longer to get the right ones, then we will."
