The Scottish Football Association Summer Holiday Programme has continued this week with a further three courses taking place in and around the city, including a new Goalkeeping Week staged at Gussie Park. Over 40 young goalkeepers from throughout the region are undergoing a series of technical coaching sessions each morning in attempt to develop their all-round technique between the posts. Furthermore, United's three keepers, Paul Gallacher, Tony Bullock and Paul Jarvie took time out before training today to pass on their knowledge and experience to the youngsters in a question and answer session. SFA & DUFC Community Coach Gavin Levey comments "The week has kicked off really well and it's extremely positive to see all these young goalies wanting to develop their skills during the summer break". "The United keepers coming down this morning before training was an added bonus for the kids and it is great to see the guys supporting grass roots football by giving up their time". The course continues for the rest of the week, whilst the Paul Gallacher School of Goalkeeping will continue on Saturday mornings from September with another midweek goalkeeping session being added to the expanding weekly programme on Monday evenings.
