The Dundee United Season Ticket office reported its best-ever first day figures yesterday with opening days sales double that of last season. "You can't read too much into one day's season ticket sales, especially when the weather was superb on Monday," commented General Manager Bill Campbell. "We are, however, hopeful that this will be an indication of how well United season tickets will sell over the coming weeks."
In season 2001-2002, United sold a record 5,500 season tickets and with optimism high that Ian McCall will deliver an exciting side for the Arab support next term, early signs are that a new sales record may be achieved.
The United Season Ticket Sales Office is open normally between 9am and 5pm with additional opening on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7pm and between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Saturdays.
