Sales of season tickets for the forthcoming 2003-2004 campaign are currently almost 50% higher than at the same time last season.
"It is very encouraging to see such an upsurge in sales for the coming season", commented General Manager Bill Campbell. "This is the best start to our season ticket sales for many, many years, perhaps ever!
"We are hearing reports of United supporters, who have not purchased a season ticket for many seasons, returning to Tannadice next season."
Team Manager Ian McCall stated: "I am delighted that so many supporters will be at Tannadice to give their backing to the team. With more new players to arrive, I hope that even more Arabs will be enticed back to Tannadice."
With prices set to rise from Monday, 14 July 2003, the United Season ticket office expects a major surge of purchases over the next two weeks.
The ticket office and phone lines for credit/debit card bookings are open from 9.00am - 5.00pm on week days with late opening until 7.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Saturdays, season tickets can be purchased from the Ticket Office and via telephone from 9.30am - 12.30pm.
