Chairman Eddie Thompson and Manager Ian McCall heaped praise on United's superb away support which crammed into Firhill on Saturday for the 1-0 victory which secured Premier League status.
Ian McCall said, "Over the past few weeks our supporters have been
absolutely magnificent. They outdid themselves on Saturday with tremendous vocal backing. I would just like to say that the management and players really appreciated it. I look forward to that type of backing next season."
Eddie Thompson said, "I am delighted that the free bus offer has
worked so well. But obviously I would also like to praise those supporters who got through to Partick under their own steam. It was a great support and I was proud of the way they conducted themselves especially when so many of them stayed behind to wish John Lambie well in his retirement.
"I look forward to another big crowd on Saturday against Aberdeen when we have the opportunity of our third win on the trot and potentially moving up another place in the League."
