Prefacing tomorrow's clash at Tannadice, the young Tangerines met with their Dunfermline counterparts this afternoon at Glenesk Park.
United got off to a good start and dominated the first 30 minutes of the match, culminating in a goal by McGowan on the half hour mark. The teams were more evenly balanced yet United extended the lead in 85 minutes with a fine attempt by Holmes (pictured).
