Dundee United today (Tuesday, 28th January) completed the signings of left back Gary Bollan from Livingston and central defender Andy Tod from Bradford City.
Bollan (29) who has signed a two and a half year deal with a one year option, began his senior playing career with Dundee United before moving on to St Johnstone, Rangers and then Livingston. Tod (31) who has played with Dunfermline and Bradford (plus loan spells at Stockport and Hearts) has signed a loan deal with United until the end of the season.
Paul Hegarty, Manager of Dundee United said, "I am delighted that we have been able to sign two very experienced defenders. There is no doubt that our defence needs strengthening and I feel that these two players will give me more options in that department."
Eddie Thompson, Chairman of Dundee United said, "I promised that we would bring in more players in an attempt to help us out of this current situation and we have kept that promise."
