Paul Gallacher is poised to start this evening's friendly international match against Canada at Easter Road and in doing so will gain his second Scotland cap. Paul made his international debut during last summer's Far East Tour when he came on for the last twenty minutes of the match against a Hong Kong XI. His colleague Steven Thompson is also likely to feature partnering Stevie Crawford in attack following the national Coach's praise of his frontmen in the Euro 2004 win over Iceland last Saturday. This would represent Steven's seventh cap for his country.
The Tannadice duo are likely to come up against former teammate and United captain Jason de Vos in this evening's encounter. Jason has been plying his talents with Wigan Athletic who are currently second top of the English Second Division having defeated Tannadice legend Paul Sturrock's Plymouth 3-1 at the weekend.
