United went into this afternoon's match with Dunfermline in confident mode following their midweek win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie. The visitors also had a superb win on Wednesday evening over Hibernian at Easter Road and so the scene was set for an exciting match on a sunny afternoon at Tannadice.
